In a program of talkSPORT, Arsenal legend talked about the situation of Man United.

Petit stated: “It’s time for Ten Hag to be dismissed by Manchester United. It’s unfortunate that I have to say this, and I sympathize with him because many players in the club haven’t been performing anywhere near their best.”

“When I watched the Manchester United vs. West Ham game, I even felt frustrated on behalf of United fans—they were losing possession so easily; it was a mess.”

“Ten Hag lacks support from fans, the club, and the players, but he must still take responsibility for many issues.”

“However, the players also need to be held accountable. Their performances are one reason behind Ten Hag’s potential dismissal.”

“Ten Hag must take responsibility for signing mediocre players from the Dutch league, and he hasn’t shown any passion. His press conferences are always lackluster.”

“The only constant at United now is the players’ mediocre performances, and this has been the case for many years. Changing the coach alone won’t likely make a difference.”

“The players’ body language is terrible. Bruno Fernandes really annoys me—sometimes I just want him to keep his mouth shut. His performance against West Ham was awful. He’s a poor captain, not fit for the role.”

“These players need to respond. If I were United’s coach—a club with plenty of resources—I’d be asking them about their future plans and ambitions. Otherwise, I don’t see any reason to be part of Manchester United.”
